7 of our students attended this event at the Hong Kong Science Park last weekend. It is one of the most significant MUN gatherings that occurs each year, drawing together a large number of participants across many schools. A distinctive feature of this conference is also that it is operated entirely by a cross-schools student committee with no affiliation to any one school.
HKMUN 2023 brought a high standard of debate, under the overarching theme of ‘Triumph from Turmoil’, with DC students participating in fora such as the General Assembly, Security Council, Historical Security Council, ECOSOC, and NATO. Congratulations to our students who all performed admirably, and we are looking forward to the final term and the opportunities it will bring to take part in further conferences.
