Dear Parents and Carers
I hope you all enjoyed a restful Chinese New Year break. We’ve had a fantastic start to the new term, and I would like to thank you all for the support you have provided to both the school and your child’s learning journey thus far.
As we look forward to the coming months, please note that there is a variety of events and activities lined up for our Primary students. Stay informed by regularly checking the key dates in the school calendar, which includes upcoming parent education workshops and other important commitments.
Your attention to these dates will help ensure that you and your child are fully prepared for the exciting times ahead.
Upcoming Key Dates:
- 23 February – Year 3 Celebration of Learning
- 26-28 February – Year 4 & Year 5 No Boundaries Trips
- 8 March – Primary Sports Day
- 14 March – Save the date – Primary 3-Way Conferences (no school lessons)

We hope these dates help with family planning up to the end of March. One event that I am particularly excited to announce is our annual Sports Day, which will take place on Friday 8 March. This day aims to be a celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and the spirit of healthy competition. Parents are welcome to cheer on our young athletes as they enjoy a memorable day of physical activity and camaraderie. Years 4-6 will be on the foreshore between 9-11.30am, Years 1-3 from 1-3pm.
I’ll leave you today with a picture of our Year 1s on their structures walk I hope it makes you smile as much as it did me.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend with your amazing children.
