On June 22, 2024, year 9 students Emily Brems and Veera Piipanoja participated in the Division 3 Swimming Competition organized by the Hong Kong China Swimming Association, following their successful participation in the Hong Kong Games held earlier this month.
After many hours of training during the current season, both swimmers were able to end the season on a high note as Emily won the silver medal in the 50m breast stroke and Veera won the gold medal and bronze medals in the 50m backstroke and 100m freestyle respectively.
They will continue to train individually over the summer to prepare themselves for the next season as ESF Sharks and DC Cobra swimmers. We look forward to seeing more of their performances next year.
