From February to April, the U14s Cobra Badminton team played tight and thrilling matches against different international schools all over Hong Kong. In the round robin, the U14 boys lost one match against VSA (Victoria Shanghai Academy) and finished the season at the top of their pool. This qualified them for the playoffs. The boys played extraordinarily well, first beating CDNIS (Canadian International School) 3-1 in the semi-finals and then beating VSA 3-1 in the finals. Cobra U14 boys won first place this year. Great job boys!
In the girls competition, two matches were lost in the round robin against VSA and CIS (Chinese International School), resulting in a second placing their pool and also qualifying them for the playoffs. In the semi-finals, they lost against VSA (1-3) and played for 3rd and 4th place in against RCHK (Renaissance College). Each game in this match was close, with a final score of 2-3 and Cobra U14 girls taking fourth place. Both teams showed extreme spirit and sportsmanship during the games, always encouraging and cheering each other on.
