The DC Under 14 Red Netball team had a tough game to kick off their season on Saturday. Finding out that our team had been placed in Division 1 meant we were going to be up against some very strong teams. Our opponents were the ESF Wildcats South. The game started off with the Wildcats scoring a few very quick goals which meant we were on the back foot to being with. The girls fought hard and managed to get up to the goal scoring end a couple of times, but we weren’t able to convert. The girls continued to fight hard throughout the entire game, but their opponents were just too strong. The DC team can be proud of their fighting spirit and that they gave it 100% right up until the very end.
